Ryan: Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer. today on our 2018 Nissan Frontier, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the CIPA universal-fit towing mirror, which is also sold as a set. One of the big questions we get asked in regards to universal-fit towing mirrors is if you're going to have any vibration or noise whenever you're gone down the road, especially at a higher speed. Well, this one does fit nice and tight against the factory housing. So if I grab the tow mirror and kind of move it around, it's more or less going to move with that factory mirror. So I really don't see that noise or vibration being an issue for you, at least not enough to bother you.A towing mirror's really going to expand our field of view. more

Well, I will say this one has a really tight fit against our factory mirror. So I really don't see that being an issue for you at all. One of the big questions we get asked in regards to the universal fit mirrors is if they're going to make a bunch of noise rattle or vibrate, especially at higher speeds. Well, this one does fit nice and tight against the factory mirror. And if you kind of shake it around a little bit, it moves pretty much with that factory mirror. So I really don't see that being an issue, at least not enough to bother you. more

CIPA Dual-View Clip-on Towing Mirror Installation - 2003 Nissan Frontier- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2003 Nissan Frontier, we're going to be installing Cipa's universal dual lens towing mirrors, part number 11953. You can also get these in a quantity of two, with part number 11953-2. And as you can see here, I'm fully visible in our factory mirrors, but as I take a step toward the outside, I'm no longer visible in our factory mirror, but I can still be clearly seen in our universal towing mirrors. This is especially helpful when merging on the highway, changing lanes, or during parking maneuvers.Each mirror is fully adjustable, both vertically and horizontally. One is convex, to give you a larger field of view. And one is straight to have a more accurate distance of what's behind you. more

Speaker 1: Today in our 2018 Nissan Frontier, we're going to be testing the Sepa clip on towing ear for number 7070. One of the biggest advantages to these universal towing mirrors is the fact that it offers you a greater field of view while traveling. For example, this is what you would normally see while traveling with just your regular mirror. Once we add the towing mirror, we're able to see this much more.This is adjustable several directions thanks to the swivel head. Left and right, up and down as well. Right now we have it in the horizontal configuration. more

Speaker 1: Today on our 2018 Nissan Frontier, we're going to be test fitting the Cipa Universal Dual View Towing Mirror, part number 11953. This is the normal view you will see once you're driving in your truck. Now, once you have the universal towing mirror added, we have a much greater field of view in one mirror and even greater in the third.Both mirrors have adjustability up, down, left and right as needed, to adjust to whatever needs you may have. And with it attached, you can fold it into the sides of the vehicle as well.How these install, it's very easy. These portions here fit on the inside of the mirror, just slide it around those, and then we'll bring our straps around and hook them up to the other side. Now if you are having difficulty with the fit, you can loosen up these knobs here to extend it out, or in as needed.And there you have it for the Cipa Universal Dual View Towing Mirror, part number 11953 on our 2018 Nissan Frontier.. more

Today, on our 2013 Nissan Frontier, we'll be doing a test fit on the CIPA clip-on towing mirror. That's part #7070. It offers us a wide field of view. It's going to allow us to safely and easily change lanes, pass, park, or even backup while towing a trailer. As you can see, I'm visible in the towing mirror, but not the factory mirror. If I take a few steps in towards my trailer, this is the view you'd get with just your factory mirror. The mirror, itself, can be rotated 360 degrees, and can be adjusted to most angles. more

Today on our 2013 Nissan Frontier we'll be doing a test fit on the Cipa Dual View Clip-on Towing Mirror. That's part #11953. It offers us a wide field of view. It's going to allow us to safely and easily change lanes, pass, park, or even back up while towing a trailer. As you can see, I'm visible in the towing mirror, but not the factory mirror. Between the two mirrors, you get the same picture, just one is a slightly larger, clearer view. more

K-Source Universal Dual Lens Towing Mirrors Review - 2015 Nissan Frontier- Video
Today on our 2015 Nissan Frontier, we're going to be test fitting the K-Source Dual View Clip-on Universal Towing Mirrors, part number KS3990. Here's where our towing mirrors are really going to shine. Right now you see me fine in that factory mirror. Even as I move over from behind the truck, I'm still there, but once I start to get further outside, you're going to lose me in that factory mirror and then you'll start to pick me up in that first lens. That gives us our good side-angle so we can really see those parking lots or maybe cars beside us as we're trying to switch lanes, but then we go a step further with the new dual-lens design. We're actually able to come out here and we can really see all the way around us. more
